Running since 2005, A Serenity AFH, or Adult Family Home, has gained a reputation for its amenities and high level of care. Located in Auburn, Washington, A Serenity AFH is a residential care home for seniors. Caregivers follow the Nursing Delegation Program as a guide for medication and task management. Whether a senior resident needs help sometimes or more often, staff is available and ready to help.

In addition to in house medical amenities, A Serenity AFH is close to more than three hospitals and medical facilities, allowing seniors to continue care with their preferred practitioners. Residents will find plenty of store options with big box stores like Wal-Mart and Safeway nearby. Seniors and their loved ones will also find entertainment options, like trying their luck at nearby Muckleshoot Casino Resort, grabbing a bite at local restaurants, or spending outdoor time at local beaches.

Services and Arrangemenities

A Serenity AFH aims to provide a welcoming and active stay while taking care of seniors' needs. Nursing staff provide daily care and assistance around the clock. Warm, friendly and clean

The home always looks and smells fresh. When I visit, we see the staff cleaning around the home often. Mom herself is always clean and has good hygiene, as they do a really good job with making sure she is bathed properly. The care giving staff at the community is also very nice. They spend time visiting with mom when we are not physically able to be there. Serenity AFH is worth the cost, it is definitely a good value. They have even allowed us to personalize her living space by putting bird feeders outside her window. The care here excellent. When she moved, mom had some issues with her feet, however that is now all cleared up thanks to the staff here. As far as activities, we see them playing card games around the great room table, listening to music together, and engaging in other ways outside.

We looked at 4 or 5 homes and selected A Serenity. We found most of the others to look and feel very Institutional. A Serenity looked and felt like a real home. That was the initial reason for selecting them. We also found the people to be very much engaged in what they were doing. They were actually interested in my wife as a person as well as someone to take care of. I visit frequently and am always updated on how things were going since my last visit. The caregivers are thoughtful and understanding. They give detailed info...positive and negative on things that come up. They treat both my wife and myself with respect and also as family. It is comfortable to drop by and visit at anytime.

Beautiful made building. Floors are clean top to bottom. Active community and the staff is super nice !
