Living Amenities

The memory care and assisted living wings of Aberdeen Crossing were built to provide residents with safe, comfortable living environments. Assisted living units consist of three floor plans, each with wall-to-wall carpeting, a kitchenette, and full-sized windows. Ranging from studio, to one-bedroom, and one-bedroom deluxe options, residents have an opportunity to choose a floor plan that best fits their lifestyle. Wooden cabinetry with overhead lighting offers space for residents to create delicious meals. Bar seating is perfect for our socialites to host cocktail parties or celebrations. Large windows invite sunlight to cover the suite, creating a bright environment where residents can enjoy their favorite hobbies.

Our memory care wing features studio and one-bedroom floor plans with plenty of space for residents and their pets. End tables are accessorized with framed photos and mementos, while walls display colorful drawing completed during art classes.

Each of our suites feature roll-in showers and full-sized tubs where residents can feel confident in their ability to navigate around. Some floor plans host a full-sized bathroom vanity where residents can get ready for our parties or community shopping excursions. Residents of Aberdeen Crossing can enjoy free wifi, cable, and phone service, and our units feature an emergency call system that immediately alerts staff if needed.

Dining

The dining experience at Aberdeen Crossing is unlike any other. Our dining room was designed to feel high-end and luxurious, yet warm, and residents look forward to meal time with enthusiasm. Our professional chef creates elaborate menus of unique food combinations, perfect for even the pickiest taste buds! Meal time creates the perfect opportunity to socialize with residents as they savor our delicious fares. Our restaurant-style dining service can cater to any diet, providing vegetarian, low sugar, or low sodium options, to name a few. On days when residents prefer eating quietly in their rooms, we offer complimentary room service so they can cozy up and enjoy a warm bowl of chili in the comfort of their own suite.

Common Areas

Common areas are crucial when it comes to creating an environment where you or your loved one can enjoy hobbies and complete tasks. We strive to invent functional common spaces that can accommodate several residents while still feeling homey. Our billiards lounge is a social hub where residents can tell stories while racking balls before a game. With a chandelier suspended delicately over the table and club chairs providing extra seating, this sophisticated space is a resident favorite. The arts and crafts center is well-lit with large windows that view the manicured lawn and surrounding trees. Residents sit together as they create inspired pieces to hang in their rooms or as gifts for their grandchildren. Our library, with its rust-colored walls and cream-colored seating, leaves residents feeling well rested and rejuvenated after they've finished their latest book. Aberdeen Crossing has a space for everyone: our community even features a business center and meeting rooms.

Our outdoor common spaces offer just as much pleasure as our indoor areas! Residents leisure outdoors, tea in hand, as they sit among the trees and flowers of our back garden. Painted Lady butterflies dip down onto leaves while residents watch and plan the rest of their day with friends. Raised garden beds with lilacs and lilies invite residents to stroll by under the sun, smelling the sweet scents. Common areas at Aberdeen Crossing offer relaxing opportunities for everyone!

Activities

Our community calendar is filled with a range of staff-coordinated activities to keep things lively and exciting. We host a number of daily activities, including things like art classes, yoga, and trivia nights. Wine tastings offer a unique challenge for residents as they attempt to guess subtle notes in each bottle. Game nights are particularly exciting, with residents testing their luck and bluffing skills as they sit around the poker table. Occasionally, we pack up and take field trips into our local community to mix things up and offer residents a chance to explore the area.

Local Area

Aberdeen Crossing is conveniently located near a diverse range of fun activities. For nature-enthusiasts, Highland Heights Community Park is just two miles away. Personal Services

By offering an array of personal services, we free up residents' schedules for a chance to enjoy our various activities and relax in our common spaces. As a helpful alternative, we offer grocery shopping services where our staff is sure to grab everything on a resident's list. Our housekeeping service is keen on bed making, dusting, laundry, and towel folding. Goodbye to-do lists! Spiritual residents can take advantage of our on-site devotional services or visit their favorite local church via our provided transportation. When we toured this facility it was a mess. We showed up and they did not have our tour/information on file. It also smelled like urine when you walked in and residents were just wandering around.

  • Delicious muffins/coffee upon arrival, warm greeting and welcome. We were unable to see an empty room only one that was occupied. Prices were a bit high for our budget. The people seemed to really enjoy the activities.. All kinds of mobility levels are mixed together.
