Nestled in the heart of Farmington Valley, Arden Courts of Avon is a not-for-profit Assisted Living Community designed specifically and focused exclusively on providing memory care for person’s living with Alzheimer’s and related neuro cognitive disorders such as Lewy Body, Frontal Temporal and Vascular dementia’s. Arden Courts’ philosophy of care and residential design engages residents physically, emotionally and socially by promoting guided independence in a safe and secure setting. Walkways flow continuously without barriers throughout the community where residents may stroll inside and, weather permitting, venture outside onto walking paths meandering over four acres of flat, protected gardens. Structured programming focuses throughout the day and early evening on what residents can do, capitalizing on lifelong experiences and familiar routines. 24/7 Medical Care, including hourly checks, focuses on maintaining the health and well-being of our residents by encouraging and helping each to be as independent as possible. Arden Courts of Avon opened its doors 20 years ago. Staff are trained routinely in the art of dementia care and have an exceptional longevity with the community.
