Bixby Knolls Towers is located in Long Beach, California and has the perfect outdoor setting for any senior who wants a relaxing environment, filled with wildlife sounds, large trees, and green grass. Residents can take a stroll through our spacious yard, enjoying the beauty that our assisted living community has to offer.

Our residents will be able to retire without worries in our community. Our highly trained staff will make your loved one's residency with us one that they will love. From our 24-hour nursing assistance to just being available to talk to our residents, getting to know each one of them personally, your loved one will feel right at home. We encourage socialization among our residents in order to help them make friends in our community. Our staff plan a wide variety of social activities, allowing residents to meet other residents with similar interests. We provide several levels of care in order to meet the changing needs of our residents, including assisted living, skilled nursing, and a rehabilitation center.

There are also a number of amenities in order to make our residents' living quarters comfortable, including:

  • A great fit for my dad

    We chose Bixby Knolls Towers because it was an affordable option compared to some we saw, they availability under short notice, and they were super accommodating and flexible with our family. My dad said the food was bland but was still good. The best part about this community was that they had a lot of activities for residents to participate in. I would and have recommended to others.

    Highly recommend this community

    Right now the activities are at a minimum due to COVID, but beforehand they were wonderful. They had live entertainment, bingo and exercise activities for everyone. If someone had a birthday, they would have get together and through a small party, and our loved one really enjoys the food they serve.

    My mother-in-law moved into the Towers a few months ago. This 14 story facility is an independent living facility. Prices vary according to the floorplan of the appartment and the number of the floor (2 - 14). She was welcomed by many of the residents and is slowly making friends. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that basic housekeeping was included in the rent. Weekly cean sheets and towels along with mopping, dusting and vacuuming certainly relieve me of some of the responsibility of helping to keep the appartment clean and fresh for Mom. She does what she can but there are mobility challenges. We enjoy eating in the dining room several times a week; even though there is a nominal fee for this privilege, we feel that it is worth it to be able to spend time together. The meals are adequate, better than some restaurants. Food is served buffet style. Service is three times a day and the wait staff are very accommodating. Dietary accommodations can be arranged. There are special holiday meals and many weekly outings. Check it out for yourself and see if this would be a good fit for your loved one.

    Mom's new home
