Each room is tastefully furnished, but feel free to bring your own familiar furnishings as well! We offer permanent living solutions as well as temporary stays for families in need of respite. Our bright home is full of windows and offers a variety of suites so every resident has the freedom to make it their own. Wheelchair-accessible, ground-floor units are available, as are private bathrooms with wheelchair-accessible showers. We also provide housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services so everyone has extra time to focus on living their best life.
Care Types Offered
Carefield Castro Valley is a residential care facility for the elderly. In the state of California, a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE) refers to a housing arrangement chosen voluntarily by persons 60 years of age or over, or their authorized representative, where varying levels and intensities of care and supervision, protective supervision, or personal care are provided, based upon their varying needs, as determined in order to be admitted and to remain in the facility. RCFEs are also referred to as assisted living facilities and board and care facilities. Persons under 60 years of age with compatible needs may be allowed to be admitted or retained in an RCFE, if certain conditions are met.
