Living Options

We offer one 1- and 2-bedroom units for residents who would care to live alone or might enjoy living with a roommate or partner. We also offer handicapped units designed for easy accessibility for those with wheelchairs or walkers. Ground floor units are available with the option of having windows facing in any directions.

Amenities

Our community has central air conditioning, with temperatures regulated to optimize comfort and safety. Do you like to cook? Some of our apartments come equipped with full-sized kitchens. Our handicapped-accessible units come with roll-in showers for your ultimate safety and comfort. Residents also enjoy free access to wifi and cable satellite TV.

Dining

Whether you would like room service or full-service restaurant-style dining, all meals are provided to our residents and prepared by our professional chef. We love to accommodate your visitors too! Activities

Residents will be entertained and healthy with our specially curated on-site activities for physical and emotional health. Our community offers a healthy living program ensuring cognitive, dietary, and physical health to ensure residents live their happiest and healthiest lives. We offer Dakim BrainFitness^TM a clinically-proven brain-training program to help residents improve and preserve mental functioning. For our resident's physical well-being we offer a variety of low-impact exercise options including chair yoga, a type of yoga modified to a seated position for those with physical limitations, as well as stretching classes, a ForeverFit^TM exercise program, and Tai Chi, a wonderfully effective exercise for a healthy balancing of the body and mind. Other community activities include trivia nights and regular educational lectures covering a wide range of academic topics. We are proud to host dances including our ever-popular "senior proms," and we love to host parties for all kinds of events such as holidays, birthdays, and resident karaoke nights. There are plenty of opportunities for fun outside the community, too residents are given the option to take regular trips to local neighborhoods and towns for exciting adventures.

Indoor Common Areas

Indoor common areas are a place to enjoy the company of fellow residents or to simply sit and relax. Residents have full access to our communal spaces including a bistro, a movie room, a billiards lounge, a TV lounge (perfect to catch the latest episode of your favorite show or enjoy sports programming), and a fully-stocked arts and crafts center. Our communal entertainment center also includes Wii Sports^TM Bowling for a fun pastime. We have an upscale bar where residents gather, socialize, and enjoy tasty libations during happy hour in a swanky atmosphere. A grand piano is the centerpiece of our communal space for our musically-inclined residents and scheduled performances we are proud to provide musical entertainment on a regular basis. Residents may also partake in organized creative pursuits such as our instructive cooking and art classes.

Outdoor Common Areas

Outdoor common areas are designed with accessibility, flow, and movement in mind. Our outdoor areas make a great setting for BBQs, picnics, or outdoor parties of any kind. Transportation

Our community provides complimentary transportation services. We have a town car as well as an accessible minibus for disabled individuals. All of our residents have access to our transportation services at a reasonable cost.

Personal housekeeping services are provided as needed both laundry and dry-cleaning services are offered. Our on-site beauty salon provides hair care and beauty treatments, and our barbershop can take care of all your grooming needs.

Medical Care Services

Our staff is available 24 hours a day to assist your loved one with any time-sensitive needs that may arise. Staff can engage in everything from monitoring residents' blood sugar to tailoring daily pill dosages. We also offer on-site massage therapy to our residents. In addition to other transfer services, our community provides 1-person assisted transfers. Emergency services such as local fire, police, and EMT are nearby and ready to respond.

There are a number of shopping centers in the area, and plenty of hotels are located near our community to conveniently accommodate residents' guests and visitors. There are also several churches and houses of worship located within the surrounding neighborhood.

Care Types Offered

LivGenerations is licensed as an Assisted Living Center with Directed Care Services, and includes Memory Care certification. These terms are defined as follows:

Assisted Living Center

In the state of Arizona, an Assisted Living Center refers to a health care institution other than a hospital or a nursing care institution which provides resident beds or residential units, supervisory care services, personal care service, directed care services or health-related services for persons who do not need inpatient nursing care. This can include adult foster care, supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services provided on a continuing basis. This type of facility provides resident rooms or residential units to eleven or more residents.

Directed Care Services

The term Directed Care Services refers to programs and services, including personal care services, provided to persons who are incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing need or making basic care decisions.

Memory Care

A Memory Care Facility provides assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), while also focusing on the needs of adults facing a decline in mental abilities. These communities provide memory-stimulating services and activities, with the goal to promote the well-being of patients with dementia. Memory care facilities are a great choice for seniors who require long term care that is designed to meet the specific needs of a person with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other types of memory problems.
