ComForCare Home Care has an office in Flint Township providing service to Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee Counties. Part of a national private duty home care service provider. It is the quality of our care, not
the severity of our clients' condition, that determines their
quality of life.
This office is certified in Dementia Care to help make better days for their clients and families. This location is also certified in Transitions of Care to help transition between the discharge and the return back to home. Their caregivers are CNA's, certified by the State of Michigan, which provides Peace of Mind knowing that a trained, certified aide is providing care. A background check, drug test, ethics test, league of nurses test and skills test must be passed by all caregivers as part of the hiring process. All caregivers are insured and bonded.
The owner is personally involved with each case opening and throughout the service period to ensure the highest quality of care and satisfaction are provided. Each case is opened with a Registered Nurse Assessment to develop a personalized care plan. Each caregiver is personally introduced to the family to reduce the anxiety of having a new person in the home and to assure the execution of care as required.
This office offers unique approaches to care that include home safety evaluations, musical programs, meaningful activities. They also teach useful tools to the families and caregivers to help their aging loved one.
When providing supportive, non-medical home care services to our clients, we optimize their independence whenever possible. Allowing them to do what they
still can results in more cooperation and acceptance of care. These services are designed to aid
clients with their activities of daily living and include:
