Situated in a quiet wooded area near the Tennessee River, surrounded by Magnolia and Silver Birch trees, is Creekside at Shallowford. This craftsman-style community offers a low-stress environment where residents can fill their days with friendly fellowship and joyful memories. Creekside at Shallowford also provides residents with a variety of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plan options to choose from.

Three nutritious meals are prepared daily and served in the restaurant-style dining room. Emergency response services are available 24 hours a day, and should your needs change, custom-tailored health and personal care services are offered by a third-party provider for an additional fee. Dedicated associates also provide several independent living services that empower residents to focus on the things they love. On-site activities and amenities are also available, keeping you stimulated and engaged.

Holiday Retirement has over 200 communities located throughout 43 states. Residents who take advantage of the Travel and Stay program can stay in any Holiday Retirement sister community for up to seven days free of charge — meals included!

    I did not like this community. I just did not like the feeling that I got when you walk in and it did not seem to be very clean.

    I did not like this community. I just did not like the feeling that I got when you walk in and it did not seem to be very clean.

  • They are so caring, so friendly, and wanting to please everyone

    The house keeping ladies are so sweet and loving to our mother, but they have a big roach problem. If they can just clean everything spotless and stay on top of it, the bug problem will go away, because that is one thing we are disappointed in. The staff members are so friendly to the residents, we have never seen anyone be ugly towards a residents, they all are great employees. Our loved one does say the meals are bland and have little seasoning, but we do know it is hard to please everyone with the amount of residents there and all of the their dietary restrictions. The activities director is really trying their best, we aren't sure of everything going on, but when they do have activities we do know our loved one is really enjoying them. Our loved one just started a little contest with the residents to see who could have the best fall decorations outside their door. We do wish they would start maybe a crafts corner or a quilting class for the ladies especially with the holidays coming up. It would also keep the cognitive abilities strong.

I am so thankful to live in my lovely 1 bedroom apartment with a nice patio that looks out at our well-cared-for courtyard with scrubs and flowers. Management is so friendly and helpful.
