McKinley Place

The gentlemen [name removed] who took us on our initial tour was outstanding, which was very comforting and reassuring to our family. McKinley Place is a not a full skilled nursing facility and we were worried if our loved one ever needed more care we would have to do this process all over again, but our doctor reassured us that this is a great community. We do think the meals and dining service is pretty good, sometimes our loved one says the meat is a little tough but then other times he loves it. The activities are doing okay, they have a church service every Sunday morning which our loved one really enjoys. It is expensive but generally it is right in line with the other facilities we looked at.

We chose McKinley Place because it was the cleanest out of the others that we looked into. The staff members were also friendly and helpful and the overall feeling when you walk in is very good, you felt comfortable being there. For my dad, the room is just the right size for him. On weekends, sometimes staffing sparse but there have been no problems. I would recommend to others looking.

I've been at several places people are dealing with many things. Staff here are very considerate. I need total care which requires a lot of thought and they're very kind. I like the food, most of the time and am very happy here.
