Longleaf Bee Cave is a brand new community in Austin, Texas, that is thoughtfully fashioned with fresh, open gathering spaces. Residents enjoy eye-catching features, including a patterned wood and tile flooring in the bistro and cowboy hats decorating the game room. This meticulous design goes beyond what the eye can see — antimicrobial countertops and painted surfaces,disinfecting UV lighting, and ionic air filtration prevent the spread of illness. Alongside managing partner Greenbrier Senior Living, Longleaf Bee Cave works to create a welcoming and safe environment where residents can receive assisted living, memory care, or respite care services.
Each resident receives a personalized care plan to ensure they receive the right amount of assistance. The community’s holistic wellness plan, Masterful Moments, provides programs and events that care for the whole person.
Those with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or another form of memory loss receive care in a secure area of the community. Person-centered care, socialization, and therapy, and other activities provide a fulfilling environment.

State Classification
Longleaf Bee Cave is a Type B assisted living facility. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:
Assisted Living Facility
A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:
- Type A:
- A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.
- Type B:
- A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.
- Type C (Adult Foster Care):
- Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
