The Manor House offers independent and enriched care for seniors in Batavia, New York. Our beautiful, established community is located in the heart of Batavia, New York — about 25 minutes from Buffalo and Rochester. With apartment style living for active seniors living in the area or those who wish to be closer to their adult children, our privately owned community is here for you. Since 1997, with two updates in 2009, we have provided a convenient senior living lifestyle. Licensed and regulated by the New York State Department of Health, your safety is our top priority.

Our ideal location ensures we are conveniently located by all major shopping centers, restaurants, medical offices and hospitals, though we maintain a small town feel. Families are always welcome and& encouraged to join us for eEducational pPresentations, eEntertainment, iIce-cCream sSocials and every day activities.

Community Services and Amenities

The Manor House offers residents the luxury to access amenities, services, and fun all in one place. We offer an on-site salon, chapel, library, private dining room, and even a cafe area for special family events. We also maintain a full calendar of exciting events for residents to enjoy as they choose. Transportation for medical or personal appointments are also provided five days a week.

Our dedicated staff are available throughout the day to support residents whenever and however needed. Whether it’s bathing assistance or mobility from one part of our community to another, we’re here no matter what.

Living Arrangements

Our community consists of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments with either a kitchen or kitchenette. All apartments come with large windows to allow for a home-like feel. Wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and individually controlled heating and air conditioning systems are featured throughout the units.

Care Types Offered

The Manor House operates an enriched housing program, which in the state of New York includes provision of room and board, housekeeping, personal care, and supervision to five or more adults in a setting similar to independent living units.

  • Comfort and quality

    It does like feel like a facility, it is so homey and comfortable you would not even know it was a senior living community. Based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend The Manor House to others. They engaged the residents every single day, and even when they had to lock down the staff still went around delivering puzzles, quizzes or candies with notes on them. They don't let the residents just sit and waste in their rooms, when they are able to get out and about the staff take full advantage.

  • Our experience during covid.

    This is a very small community and everyone knows each other. I feel they get more attention due to the community being small. The building is beautiful and decorated nicely also. I would recommend this community to others.

  • We are happy with our choice

    I would recommend it, we are happy with our loved one there. The food prior to COVID, the food was decent when we ate there. The room size is decent. The activities prior to COVID included: cooking classes and demonstrations, bingo, and some residents would play games and cards. They do have concerts that come in prior to COVID. I believe they even had a bus that would take residents to church services. They also provide transportation to doctor visits in the zip code, and this still happens. We have now resumed face-to-face visits, and this has started in the last couple of weeks. They hired an employee to oversee all the visits, and limited. They have had no residents or staff that has tested positive for COVID.
