The VIVA!? program offers a combination of programs, including a number of proven Pathway to Living’s signature programs that have been perfected over time, as well as customized programs developed specifically for individual residents.
Life enrichment is the priority at Stoney River, and the community is a part of the Pathway to Living program where seniors can participate in a variety of signature programs to engage seniors with new or existing hobbies. Check out a sample of their programs:
- ArtPath. Inspire the artist within! Regular and ongoing instruction is offered in various art mediums for both beginning and experienced artists. Rewarding, creative, and fun, ArtPath is a cornerstone of Wellness Programming.
- Lifelong Learning. Every month, residents engage in programs from college-level courses on various topics to adult educational series on photography, literature, and other resident interests.
- Victory Gardens. Residents have the opportunity to maintain their own vegetable garden and curate seasonal ingredients. It’s not uncommon for a summer dish to be topped with homegrown vegetables.
- Viva! World Tour. Viva! World Tour invites residents to see the world, experience exotic cultures and practice foreign languages, all without ever leaving home. Viva! World Tour expands the mind while satisfying the travel bug.
- Good Vibrations. During Pathway’s Drumming and Vibrations circles, residents tap into their creative spirit. Using a variety of rhythmic instruments, residents exercise self expression and socialization with friends. Plus, it’s an effective full-body workout!
- See Spot Retire. Adopt, don’t shop! At Pathway, they are committed to rescuing dogs who need a loving and forever home. Every Pathway community you visit will have a four-legged resident!
Assisted Living Services and Amenities
A variety of personalized care services are offered at Stoney River Assisted Living & Memory Care, including diabetic care, memory care, incontinence care, ambulatory care, and medication management. The staff is specially trained in providing high-quality memory care and community specialists are also available to provide additional services as needed.
All meals are provided for residents and special dining programs are offered for residents who need specific dietary accommodations. In between meals, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the many activities and programs offered. These are a great opportunity to connect with other residents and really become a part of the Stoney River community.
Living Arrangements
Stoney River Assisted Living & Memory Care offers studio, one-bedroom, two-bedrooms, and semi-private apartment styles. Each spacious floor plan comes equipped with amenities such as wheelchair-accessible showers and bathtubs, WiFi, full kitchens or kitchenettes, cable or satellite TV, and air conditioning. Respite or short-term stays are also available.
