The Springs of Vernon Hills is located in northeast Illinois, near the colorful city of Chicago. We’re a member of the JEA senior living family and have over 30 years of experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related illnesses.
Our philosophy of care is simple: to care for each resident with dignity and respect and to embody that ideal in everything we do. In addition to providing robust memory care and respite care, we’re here to care for you. Family partnerships are important to us. We offer support groups, educational activities, and encourage your participation in community activities, meals, and more.
Community Services and Amenities
We take a unique approach to dementia care through the use of our Meaningful Moments program. It’s a family-centered concept which involves learning everything about residents, including their passions, careers, achievements, hobbies, families, and more. Our individualized technique allows us to engage and connect on a deep and personal level.
Residents of our community have full access to creative activities like art therapy, dancing, games, storytelling, and more. Exercise and pet visits are also an important part of our daily routines here.
The overall health and safety of our residents are at the forefront of our mind and our number one priority. We have trained staff present throughout the day to provide regular supervision.
Additional Services We offer Include
Respite Care: For seniors in need of rehabilitation after an injury, or for when caregivers need to mentally rest or physically unwind.

Living Arrangements
At the Springs of Vernon Hills we emphasize the comfort of a homelike environment. You’ll find many warm and welcoming public areas throughout our building where we encourage residents to mingle and relax. We offer three specialized room types: a private room with a private bath, a private room with a shared bath, or a deluxe private suite. Residents are encouraged to personalize, decorate, and make their room feel as comfortable as possible.
