Care Types Offered

Aberdeen Village provides independent and assisted living. These terms are defined as follows:

Independent Living

Independent living communities – also known simply as retirement communities – are geared towards seniors who are able to live on their own, without daily assistance, and prefer to live among people their age. This usually means residents are self-sufficient and do not require hands-on care. Think of retirement communities as age-restricted (typically 55+) complexes, which provide organized activities, meal services, and transportation.

Assisted Living

Assisted living communities provide supervision, community-style living, and personal care services to seniors who may require limited assistance with the activities of daily living (ADLs). These communities promote independence among seniors who do not require 24-hour skilled nursing care.

  • Very clean and well organized. We had lunch with a friend who lives there and food was very good. She loves the facility. Lots of activities for those who are interested. Like the fact that all three levels of care plus rehab are on premises.
