  • I would recommend

We chose Addison Place because of the pricing, it was was all inclusive so you did not have to pay extra for anything like medications. They were good with communication. Some of the staff members really went above and beyond for our loved one. It was a good experience and I would recommend them.

  • Mixed feelings due Covid

Over the past almost year, there have been some very friendly people. And there have been some people that, had they been my only impression of the facility, I wouldn't have put my loved one in it. It's like a box of chocolates, you never know which you're going to get. It could be a reflection that they're stressed out due to Covid. When we've gone in to visit, the person who's there to screen you doesn't always acknowledge you, or people have been standing there talking blocking the front desk, and the staff doesn't move those people to help you sign in. It's just frustrating when that's happening multiple times. The overall facility appears to be clean, but I haven't been able to go to the dining room or other public areas. They're cleaning the apartments, but my loved one's chair hasn't been dusted sometimes, and the bathroom wasn't always clean when I visited. There's nothing glaringly bad here, but there's also not been anything I've been able to say "Oh that's so wonderful" about. Sometimes there's a lag in communication. I'd like to see them have an out of office response on emails that directs you to call elsewhere if you need immediate assistance with an issue. It's been tough with a loved one who has some memory issues. We can't always rely on her comments 100% in determining if something did or didn't happen. And then there's a lag in the staff getting back to you when you try to clear things up. That's just frustrating. I know it's a tough situation for everyone to handle right now during Covid. . .

  • The Addison Place is a beautiful facility. [name removed] was able to give me an on site tour and was so helpful with all my questions. My mom is very familiar with the geographical area and I think that would make her move a little easier. I believe this facility will be our first choice. I believe the rent is also affordable for my mom.
