  • Like Affinity very much, was given very nice tour by [name removed], but they have no vacancies in two bedrooms. Loved the pool and exercise areas (obviously in working order with nice equipment - unlike at Rio Grande) and general layout and activity areas. Washer/dryers in the rooms, kitchens; however we were not able to actually view a real room to compare to the rooms we saw at Rio Grande, due to no vacancies. We are thinking this might be a viable solution. Got on waiting lists for two bedrooms, just in case.

  • A perfect fit for my mom

We think this is the perfect place for our loved one even during the pandemic. They have small special events that take place, they have some activities going on right now like happy hour, door decorating, and movie nights 1-2 days a week. She has a two bedroom with a gorgeous view, she is really happy that. One thing that was important to her was that they have a salt water pool there where she is able to continue with her pool therapy.

  • MOVE ELSEWHERE IF YOU ARE OLD AND NON-WHITE

THIS WAS PROBABLY THE WORST PLACE THAT WE COULD HAVE CHOSEN FOR OUR MOTHER, MOTHER-IN-LAW, GRANDMOTHER. THE MANAGMENT IS RUDE, THEY ONLY WANT YOU IN ONCE YOU ARE IN FORGET GETTING ANYTHING RESEMBLING "CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A SMILE". UNLESS YOU HAVE A 4TH FLOOR APARTMENT YOU WILL HEAR EVERY NOISE THAT YOUR NEIGHBOR ABOVE OR BELOW CAN THROW AT YOU. THE HEAT IN THE APARTMENTS IS ELECTRIC AND YOU CANNOT RAISE THE TEMPERATURE HIGHER THAN 75 AND THOSE LITTLE WALL HEATERS DON'T "MUSTER" A COLD WINDER NIGHT. FINALLY, AFTER MUCH DEBATE AND PROTEST WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE TEMP RAISED TO 80, BUT NOTHING LIKE FORCED AIR GAS HEAT. THE HALLS ARE DIRTY AND THE ELEVATORS ARE DIRTY WITH DOG POOP, ETC. THE ELDERLY HAVE NO BUSINESS MOVING THERE, STAY OUT.
