  • An option but maybe not THE option.

    The staff does care about the residents, and the facilities have been upgraded. However, their meal service is lacking in quality. And I wish some of the cleanliness could be addressed regarding bedding and bathing routines.

  • Tour of Brookdale

    We toured Brookdale and it was not very cozy, it felt more institutionalized. There was also a couple of issues with ingredients at the time we were visiting that made me uncomfortable.

  • A place I would recommend

    Overall our loved one is happy but there, we get a calendar list of activities that are available for the residents and there is a wide variety for them to choose from. Our loved one is on the memory care side and they actually did not confine them to their rooms. There was in person activities as well as some virtual activities for their families to participate in. For Valentines Day the activities director gave us the tools we needed to paint along with our loved one virtually. They she would come pick them up and bring them to our loved ones, and we always received a gift basket with a bottle of wine. The activities director there has just gone out of her way to help our family with the transition during covid.
