  • Would highly recommend

Brookdale Midlothian set the bar so from the first time we stepped into the building. Everyone there is so friendly, they are always greeting us with a smile when we come to visit. On our initial tour we met with the executive chef and he was very impressive, he just blew our socks off. The entire staff team has great communication. At first our loved one was in assisted living, but then had to move to memory care. Anytime there is a concern or an emergency they all us immediately, they are always on top of it. We have an outside hospice team that also helps out, and even the hospice workers say they love coming to work and visit at Brookdale because of the staff and care givers. Our loved one is thriving there, she loves showing off her arts and crafts and especially loves playing bingo.

  • Promises not met

They have been very short staffed, so a lot of things are being promised without being delivered. There has been a lot of turnover with employment. As far as their food menu, it is very generic and I do not think they accommodate the residents as much as they should.
