  • They're very involved with their residents and do a good job keeping them involved in activities.

The only problem we've had is from day one, we had our loved one's payments set up to be automatically withdrawn form her bank. The month passed, and we were waiting and waiting. Still no withdrawal from her bank account. We called Brookdale, and they said it was all taken care of. It ended up taking two months to get it resolved. And in the meantime we got a nastygram about the overdue account. But that should be all resolved at this point. And accounting /bookkeeping is the only problem we've had. Everything else has been just fine. They seem very involved with their residents. The manager there does a really nice job. And the facility is nicely kept. I haven't seen anything I've been concerned about.

  • My review of Brookdale Virginia Beach

Our family had an in person tour and our experience was very good. They did have restrictions so while we were there at the community, the sales lady had a nurse go around the community with her phone which was very nice. We were very tempted to put our love done there but in the very end it was covid that messed us up. We felt they became short staffed and we wanted to make sure our loved one was going to find and get the best care. Brookdale is a newer community which was very nice

  • my review of Brookdale Virginia Beach

We toured this community and the tour was very good and the staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was there was no one at the front desk and the security seemed to be lacking.
