More Than Memory Care

Our community in Ann Arbor, Michigan specializes in enriching the lives of seniors through memory care. We value the safety and security of our community, but we also treasure them as the wise and wonderful people they are.

We understand the importance of familiarity and routine and incorporate it into every aspect of life here. Our community was designed to resemble the warm and inviting environments your family member has enjoyed throughout their life, resembling a private home that inspires comfort and security.

We also have enclosed walking areas that allow them to move safely throughout the community without fear of leaving the spaces they've grown to know and love. As an added layer of security, all exterior doors are alarmed to make sure no residents leave without notice.

With gentle guidance from our care team, your family member will take part in person-centered programming as part of their regular routine. They will participate in activities that honor their past and present interests, engage in daily physical movement, and enjoy morning mental workouts that incorporate discussions and thought-provoking games that fill them with a sense of purpose and belonging each and every day.

While your loved one is here, they will have access to a number of amenities, including:
Daily mental exercises that stimulate the mind
Physical activity to inspire holistic wellness
Individual and group activities that provide a sense of belonging
Life enrichment programming that caters to individual needs and interests
Full-service dining in a dementia-friendly environment
Enclosed walking areas that allow residents to safely navigate the community?

Because our care team is available on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you can rest assured your loved one will always be safe and sound.

  • Brookdale on Eisenhower in Ann Arbor

Family member has been living at Brookdale since [date removed]. Disease is progressing, which is to be expected, but we feel he is in a safe place. Other residents and staff are very friendly and warm. Feel that family member is being looked after adequately and medical needs are being met.

  • It feels like home

My husband is doing well here. I feel like things have started to fall into place, the staff is wonderful, they have gotten him interested in the activities and he is getting ready to go on his first outing/field trip with some of the other residents, he is up and walking again. and they are well trained to care for his memory issues as well as his Parkinsons. We like his room and he enjoys going to the dining room and he likes the food too. There is a beautiful secured courtyard where we can go and visit. This community feels like a home and I would definitely recommend coming for one of their tours.

  • Very Fine Home

It is a very fine home. Well maintained on the outside and clean on the inside. On the weekends it seems they could use more staffing. The laundry seems to get backed-up, there are dirty sheets on the chairs where we usually sit. My sister brought a laundry basket to put in the closet for his dirty clothes, instead, they still throw the dirty clothes on the floor. He has lost some of his clothes in the laundry process even though his name is written on his clothes. The food looks very appetizing, there are no complaints there. The staff is friendly and caring and they try very hard to handle the episodes my brother-in-law has while they are trying to get his medication under control. He was evaluated and they let us know they could handle difficult situations. There are nice areas outside for him to exercise. The community is in a good location and it is close by so that we can visit often. We feel he is in a very safe and secure facility.
