Carson Senior Assisted Living is an assisted living and memory care community located in Carson, California. Our goal is to make a home for senior residents and attend to their needs in a professional, delicate, and compassionate environment. We understand the importance of diligently caring for the unique needs of our older loved ones, and take on a dignified approach to help ensure each individual in our community is cherished every day with our assistance and guidance. Our lovely community resembles a charming home inside and out—we have lovely plants and pottery that embellish our distinctive entrance, and warmly decorated living spaces where residents and staff congregate throughout the day. We pride ourselves in maintaining a close-knit community where residents are always looked after, and connections with good people are always made.

Carson, California is an ideal location to retire in grace. We’re located just 15 miles from Los Angeles, with endless attractions and recreation options for residents and their visiting loved ones to enjoy anytime. Whether it’s visiting The Honest Abe Cider House & Meadery or the International Printing Museum, there’s never a shortage of fun while retiring in Carson.

Our Community

We maintain a vibrant community by providing an array of amenities that supplement residents’ daily needs. Our staff organizes daily activities, including trips, fun entertainment, and stimulating educational programs. Residents can enjoy three delicious, home-style meals daily in our restaurant-style dining room, or with family and visitors in our private dining areas.

Our caregivers are diligently vetted and trained to care for the unique needs of residents in our assisted living and memory care facilities. We develop personalized plans that coordinate with the continuum of care needed for each resident, with cognizant awareness of any changing needs that may arise to better accommodate their needs. From assistance with activities of daily living to medication management, we aim to ensure the continuous well-being of every resident in our care, with complete attention given to their overall health.

Living Options

We currently have private and semi-private units available, and residents can choose from furnished or unfurnished suites. All of our units feature safety support grab bars in bathrooms, included utilities (except telephone and cable), and emergency call systems to notify our 24-hour staff any time of day with urgent concerns.

Care Types Offered

Carson Senior Assisted Living is a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE), which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as assisted living facilities and board and care facilities. A residential care facility may provide care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

  • Be Careful

    I would recommend you look elsewhere for a community for your loved one. The staff would just sit the meals at the outside of the door of my loved one's room. Breakfast is typically served around 10 instead of around 8 in the morning like my loved one would prefer.

  • A safe community

    Occasionally, the community has issues with smell. The staff could be better about communicating with the families. Sometimes, when they are training care giving staff, it seems they could be a bit more thorough as they do not always seem to know how to handle my mother and her needs. They could have more options for activities for the residents. Other than bingo, there wasn't much else for the residents to do. For more active seniors, it doesn't seem like there is enough engagement. Overall, we are comfortable with her care. I am there every day to advocate for my mother. I would recommend this community to other families looking for senior living.

    A safe community

Sometimes, when they are training care giving staff, it seems they could be a bit more thorough as they do not always seem to know how to handle my mother and her needs. They could have more options for activities for the residents. Other than bingo, there wasn't much else for the residents to do.   • again the original tour person was late. so someone else took us on the tour and finally the original person we had an appointment with showed. So I guess she had another appointment with someone else. that was ok the facility was ok but it needs a little work done a very old facility as we can see. But the only good thing we liked is that the facility is closer to where we live.
