  • Overpriced room

I toured Casablanca and wasn't very impressed. It was outdated and there was nothing around the home. The lady wanted to charge me $7,000 for the master bedroom and kept haggling the price and I didn't even like the room that much.

  • A very pleasant environment

The Casablanca Home Care has a very pleasant environment. The environment and decorations are nice. The atmosphere is also calm. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. They have a couple of dogs which is nice. We looked at a number of properties. We liked this one because it was one level and had an open floor plan. It's really spacious. Everyone is able to move around. It was an excellent experience.

  • Immensly pleased

My wife, a Parkinson's and dementia patient, was a resident of another residence, which, for a number of reasons, became unsatisfactory for both my wife and me. I decided to move her to another facility. I did some more research and checked several residences, and after much thought, decided to move her to Casablanca Home Care. When I first visited Casablanca it was without my wife, but with three other people, whose judgement I trust. After a tour and discussions with the administrator, all four of us were impressed and in full agreement that Casablanca is a place far superior to the one she was then in. The next day, I brought my wife who immediately had a desire to move there. Please note that, even with her diseases, she has sufficient cognitive power to contribute to these decisions, so I would not have done this without her full consent. In the time she has been a resident she has been very happy there. I concur. I couldn't be more pleased with her care. These are people who obviously truly care. Some of the things that they do, in addition to seeing to her personal requirements in a competent and prompt way, they do such things as serving meals on the patio, weather permitting, taking her to have her hair and nails done and taking her shopping at the nearby mall! She had not had the pleasure of shopping (!) for quite a while and she loved it. Obviously, both she and I are very pleased with Casablanca. Not only have they done even more that I expected. They have created a wonderful family atmosphere and both she and I are treated as such. So, too are any visitors. I would not hesitate to recommend Casablanca to anyone who may be considering a placement of a loved one.
