Located in the Campello neighborhood of Brockton, Massachusetts, Connemara Senior Living is close to lots of attractions. We’re minutes away from Fuller Craft Museum, Mary Baker Eddy Historic House, shopping at Westgate Mall, and several dining options.
We offer several levels of care to the seniors we serve, including memory care, assisted living, and independent living options. Those who opt for a private suite may bring their pets. Veterans may be eligible for benefits, and we also encourage you to check your insurance policies to see if the cost of care might be covered. We also offer a group adult foster care program. Individuals must meet certain financial and clinical requirements and be covered by Medicaid to take advantage of this program.
Community Amenities and Services
From day one, you’ll notice that we have a lot to offer in our community. If you want to keep learning, join us for a computer class or for a topical discussion with one of our visiting local experts. Those who want to stay active will enjoy our exercise group and getting out and about in the community for one of our field trips. We also have movie screenings and performances, as well as intergenerational activities and religious services.
We want to assist you when you need it, but we’ll always do so with respect. Some things we help with include activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. We have a self-administered medication management program, overseen by our nursing staff. We’re happy to help you get to any of our on-site activities or appointments. Should you need it, we do have visiting podiatry services available. We also offer personal care planning and overnight status checks. Our staff is available to help you 24 hours a day for any immediate needs.
We have therapists on-site who can help with any rehabilitation needs you have. We also offer a home safety assessment for new residents, as well as fall prevention programs you can take advantage of.
Living Arrangements
Our community consists of 86 apartments. We have studio, one-, and two- bedroom options to choose from, as well as companion suites. All of our apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and emergency response systems. Most of our apartments also feature a walk-in shower. Feel free to bring in furnishings of your choice to make the space truly your own. Our independent living residents will enjoy a maintenance free lifestyle and can purchase a meal whenever they don’t feel like cooking. Assisted living residents have ongoing assessments to make sure their needs are being met and receive three meals a day. Our Galway Memory Care Residence is a secure building for those with Alzheimer’s or Dementia — where your loved one will receive three meals a day and benefit from activities geared towards cognitive care.
