Welcome to Copper Creek Inn, situated a short drive away from downtown Phoenix. Built in 2011, Copper Creek Inn is part of the Koelsch Company which has been family-owned and operated since 1958. Our Community

Enjoy our outdoor patios while staying cool with our cooling mist system set up under the lounging area. There are lounge areas with comfortable chairs where you can relax and read a great book, and tables for you to play cards, board games, and table tennis. Copper Creek has on-site beauticians and salon equipment to pamper our senior clients. Our residents, even those with more advanced memory loss, are offered scheduled activities geared to their specific abilities. Whether they participate in our Yoga Stretch, Gardener Groupies, Pet Therapy, frequent music events, or a variety of fun options offered daily, our residents can enhance their aging journey. Dining

Copper Creek employs local chefs to prepare food for our residents - our menus are designed to have peak nutritional benefits and are crafted in part with registered dieticians. You can share meals in the dining hall or enjoy our cuisine in your room or a more private dining area. We can also help seniors with trips to the grocery store. Some of our apartments have kitchenettes so residents can make any number of recipes at home.

On-Site Medical Care

We understand the needs of our clients who require memory care services - our staff are trained to provide round-the-clock care should the need arise. We count RNs and LPNs among our staff, who understand that everyone needs different levels of care, and we work to design care plans tailored to the unique needs of every resident. Our staff also includes a nurse practitioner who serves as a medical director, responsible for assembling healthcare and medication management programs for residents.

Regular visits from specialized occupational therapists are available to residents to aid development, recovery, improvements, and maintenance of skills needed for daily living. Speech therapy services are provided by trained and certified speech pathologists. A visiting nurse is available to care for residents. A dentist and optometrist pay regular visits to our facility to provide comprehensive dental and eye care. At our community we offer adjunct therapies, such as reminiscence therapy, which stimulates sight, sound, smell, and touch faculties to encourage memory recall and the enjoyment of sensory experiences. Memory care communities in Arizona are defined as facilities which provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), while also focusing on the needs of adults facing a decline in mental abilities. These communities provide memory-stimulating services and activities, with the goal of promoting the well-being of patients with dementia. Care amenities can include:

Living Arrangements

We offer 1-bedroom units that have wheelchair access as well as companion units to residents who would like to live with a roommate. To accommodate our residents’ comfort, our community has air conditioning, and temperatures are regulated to optimize safety. Some apartments are equipped with kitchenettes so that residents can make their own food. Resident rooms feature roll-in and wheelchair accessible showers.

Nearby Hospitals

There are at least 19 general hospitals in the Mesa area that can provide service in case any of our clients have emergency needs. One of the top-rated hospitals in the city is the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. The Mayo Clinic is top-ranked in Arizona and located right in the middle of Phoenix, within a short drive of our service area.

Religious Services

We offer devotional services on-site, so residents can practice or worship in the privacy of our community. Catholic and Protestant religious services are available, provided by a visiting chaplain. There are also several churches located within the surrounding neighborhood.

Moving Assistance

We understand that there may come a point in which seniors can no longer stay in their homes. In these cases, we work with A Place for Mom to find a community in the area which can care for you or your loved one’s specific needs. We have financial resources available to assist in our effort to treat all of our clients with respect and dignity.
