  • Caring and Professional Staff

I didn't give them that many hours at first, and they were a bit hard pressed to schedule that few hours. But they worked with me to be able to accommodate. They just had to rotate several people to meet our needs. I ended up adding a few more hours to help with scheduling. So far I've had four different aides. But right now I have an aide that I really like. She's very professional, personable, and care giving. One of the owners has been very nice as well.

  • Hospice care

Covenant found us people, but we would have preferred the same persons all the time. Among those assigned, we were not allowed to continue with the two we most wanted even though both caregivers wanted to be assigned to us. Some were excellent and others not. Several caregivers were not happy with their employer, and communication with Covenant was not always good for them or for us. I would not go to Covenant again. My husband passed away just as we were planning to make a change. We hired 3 people per day, 2 for the 12-hour day shift and 1 for the 12-hour night shift. I paid $22 per hour, and caregivers received $10 per hour with no benefits.

  • My caregiver is great!

[Removed], the caregiver that comes to my house is very good. She cooks meals for me and takes care of everything that has to do with the kitchen which is what I needed. She will also iron my clothing when needed. I never got a paper that says what she is supposed to do for me, but so far I am happy with the service.
