Cypress Place is located on a tree lined street in beautiful Summerville, South Carolina. We are two miles north of Old Fort Dorchester State Historical Park and about thirty miles from the Atlantic Ocean.

At Cypress Place, we strive to maintain a cozy homelike atmosphere, with a caring staff that understands our residents. We develop individual care plans to meet their needs, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care.

We provide transportation to and from medical appointments. We also offer rehabilitation as well as respite care. If an emergency arises we are less than half a mile from Summerville Medical Center.

We offer numerous activities and amenities to help residents thrive in both mind and body:

    Our spacious apartments offer all the comforts of home. Each apartment has wall to wall carpeting, built in bookshelves, safety features in the private bathroom and kitchenettes with appliances, including microwave. Apartments are also phone and cable connection ready.

    Common areas include a restaurant style dining room, activity and crafts room, private dining room for entertaining guests, library, computer area and an enclosed courtyard with gardening areas.

  • Great atmosphere.

    This has been the best care for my mom. She has gained weight, enjoys the activities and seems to be doing well. The food smells amazing and it is extremely clean. Everyone is very helpful no matter what time you visit or call.

    I was able to get my parents in short notice and with some bumps in the road. The staff was excellent and I can see that they really care for the residents. They are helpful and kind! Cypress may not be shiny and new, but they really make sure that they are there for the residents. I tested the pull cord in the room and a staff member was there to help in one minute! Thanks so much Cypress!

    Like Family

    I was able to get my parents in short notice and with some bumps in the road. The staff was excellent and I can see that they really care for the residents. They are helpful and kind! Cypress may not be shiny and new, but they really make sure that they are there for the residents. I tested the pull cord in the room and a staff member was there to help in one minute! Thanks so much Cypress!
