Glen Terra Senior Assisted Living provides residents with a newly remodeled community, various activities, spacious and well-designed apartments, an engaging wellness program, and amenities that complement daily life. We understand the difficult transition it can be to enter assisted living—we’ve made sure to provide services and amenities that are tailored to the well-being of each resident, giving each member of our community the opportunity to live their golden years independently, safely, and with optimum care. We are conveniently located near some of the top attractions in our lively city of Glendale, CA. Residents and guests alike can enjoy the Glendale Galleria, a picnic at Brand Park, a show at the Alex Theatre, and so much more! There’s an abundance of things to do in and around our facility, providing an extensive living experience. Community & Amenities

Our staff is dedicated to enhancing the dignity and quality of life of each resident. We believe in cultivating an active approach to senior living, and do so through every aspect of our community, with services and amenities alike. We provide three delicious, health-conscious meals a day in our lovely communal dining room, as well as an array of many other services and amenities, such as:

Living & Care

We currently have studio and one-bedroom apartments, as well as two-bedroom apartments for residents that may want to stay with a roommate. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are offered, and kitchenettes are available in select units. For personalized care, residents can visit with speech pathologists, registered nurses, and an on-call doctor. We have personal housekeeping services, concierge, and a 24-hour care staff available around the clock to assist with any time-sensitive needs.

Care Types Offered

Glen Terra Senior Assisted Living is a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE), which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as assisted living facilities and board and care facilities. A residential care facility may provide care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

  • A great experience for assisted living, would recommend if you are looking for a good friendly environment

    We chose Glen Terra because the openness and cleanliness of the facility and the staff was very friendly during our tour. It is a moderate size community, about 100 residents. They are keeping the residents occupied as best they can with everything going on. They have a variety of room sizes depending on cost. I would recommend.

They are keeping the residents occupied as best they can with everything going on. They have a variety of room sizes depending on cost. I would recommend.

  • There are pros and cons here

    [Removed] the director and [Removed] the kitchen manager (who is no longer working there) are not very compassionate people. Their personalities are very cold. I tried speaking with [Removed] and giving her information about foods that I can and can’t eat due to specific symptoms that I have and she didn’t take me seriously. It feels like because I’m the youngest resident there, I’m not taken seriously. [Removed] doesn’t take my symptoms very seriously either. She’ll tell me that I just need to take a walk and that it’s all in my head. It’s been a battle and I’ve been suffering. The new chefs though have been wonderful. They got the information I gave them for what I can and can’t eat and they’re really trying to make sure I eat well. There are pros and cons, here. There are a few people that work here that really try their best. A con is that they need new washing machines. They’re very old and rusty and they don’t clean them every day. I don’t even want to do my laundry in them. Other than that, [Removed], the owner, is more compassionate and I like him. [Removed], the manager, looks at everything like it’s just a business. [Removed], the secretary, is wonderful and I give her big thumbs up. The residents are good people, but I’m worried about the way the facility feeds them. They’re serving food that teenagers would eat. The apartment I have is wonderful, though. It’s big, it has a kitchenette, there’s great space, and there’s patio with nice light coming in. The bedroom is large and the bathroom is wonderful and big.

    My father-in-law is adjusting at Glen Terra and getting involved with some activities. However, he is not crazy about food.
