  • Dad loves it

We chose Hickory Villa because we had a referral from a friend who had a great experience. Also the location was centrally located for family. The room sizes here are great and perfect for his needs. The staff really watches over him but they give him independence as well which he likes. They are always right on it if we have any questions or concerns. There is a transition period with nursing staff, so there has been a couple of mishaps but I think it is just from them regrouping and I don't see it as a long term problem. I would definitely recommend them.

  • Happy and Content Residents

During my visit I had the chance to talk with several residents. They were all happy and contended. When I asked them what they liked the most, the consensus was, "The Food" and "The People". HIckory Villa has a unique Atrium-Style design. All of the 2nd floor apartments look over an interior balcony to the dining room and family room. The community was clean, there were residents engaged in the different common areas. It had a cozy, family feel. When the time is right - they have a one bedroom apartment with a private balcony. I loved that!

  • We met with [Removed]. We liked the size and layout of the building. all essential areas were in close proximity. Clean, well maintained common areas. all apartments are 1 bedroom so it was more appealing to me than a studio apartment. Cost was less that most places we have visited and amenities are plenty. Residents spoke highly of the staff, meals and other residents. This place is a contender.
