  • Memory Care

Since my aunt has been a resident in the memory care unit, all I can say is the staff is very nurturing. I had my self doubt about putting her in a facility, thinking I could still manage her care by myself. Since her time there , these past few months has truly helped her feel safe and secure. She loves the staff and the new friends she has made under their care. No more worrying about her wandering at night, stairs in my house that she may fall or answering the door, if I’m not home. The Lorelton has given her a safe haven to live her life, interacting with others every day.

  • Lorelton is a special place.

My brother Tom left his home at age 79 after a six month series of hospitalizations and rehabilitations. He took one look at Lorelton and knew the 1930’s Lore School infrastructure was beyond anything he had seen at other community and would uniquely define his new permanent home. When he has an issue, he can walk from his apartment to speak to someone who can fix it. He has interacted regularly with the Director, the Business Manager, the Chief Nurse, the Chief Chef, and the Chief Phone Lady. They all know Tom. They care about him, and each helps him whenever he is in a tough spot. What stands out as he roams about Lorelton is that he encounters lots of staff and lots of residents who are out and about in the hallways, doing stuff Lorelton’s strength is that they are one of a kind. Singular, and in charge. For the good of their residents.
