Here in Homer Glen, a quaint, comfortable suburb of Chicago, you can enjoy all the benefits of the Marian Village assisted and independent living community. We are a part of the Franciscan Communities, a Catholic organization that believes in nourishing the spirit alongside the body. Not Catholic? No problem! We welcome all faiths and want you to be a part of our loving community. Oh, and we’re also happy to accommodate your furry friend!

Being located in a suburb of Chicago has its perks. Community Amenities and Services

Here at Marian Village, your care is our first priority. Being available night and day to help with everything from basic tasks to ambulatory care and continuous care and attention is something we pride ourselves on. We work with you to make a care plan that best suits your needs. We are eager to help with all of your housekeeping needs, taking the burden off of tasks like laundry, grocery shopping, personal care, and hygiene care.

We also strive to provide you with the best medical care possible. We have on-site doctors, nurses, dentists, podiatrists, and massage therapists, and offer hospice on-site. We also specialize in medication management, ambulatory care, incontinence care, and diabetic care.

One of the things we pride ourselves most on is our dining services. We have professional chefs who work to provide a variety of delicious and nutritious meals in our restaurant-style dining room. Our chefs are eager to work with you and your care team to determine the best diet plan for you and are happy to accommodate any restrictions you may have.

Our campus features a variety of both indoor and outdoor gathering spaces for residents to gather with one another and for guests! We value community and care over all, and our campus features reflect that.

Another large part of our mission is to provide activities both on and off campus to aid in the mental and spiritual development of residents. Residents have the option whether or not to participate in any scheduled activities. If you are looking for a community that will foster religion in your life, this is the place for you — we hold religious services, Bible study, and various on- and off-site devotional activities. In addition to devotional outings, we offer a variety of other activities like arts and crafts, woodworking, films, happy hour, trivia, tai chi, and more!

Marian Village residents benefit from a variety of amenities, from fitness centers to a beauty salon, to the spacious landscaped campus. Residents can play billiards in the game room, play a tune at the piano, or try their hand at arts and crafts in our art room.

Living Arrangements

Residents at Marian Village benefit from differing levels of care that are reflected in their room type. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available, garden homes are available, and studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites are available. Bedrooms are bright and airy and are furnished in sturdy, classic furniture that add a touch of class and a hint of home in each room. We strive to make each resident comfortable and excited to come home to their room each night. The whole facility is also equipped with WiFi, air conditioning and heat, bath tubs, full kitchens, ground floor units, and more.
