At Miracle Hands Care Services Assisted Living in Lanham, Maryland, your loved one can experience personalized senior living in an intimate setting. As a care home, only a handful of residents live in this ranch-style home on a quiet, dead-end street with shady trees, an inviting front porch, and spacious backyard. You’ll notice the difference in individualized attention compared to larger communities.

Founded in 2012, the care home is owned by a licensed practical nurse and strives to employ other highly experienced staff members to provide knowledgeable and compassionate care.

Miracle Hands is just down the street from the Lanham Forest, a heavily wooded area with a walking trail, winding creek, and recreation center in Prince George’s County. A shopping center with popular retailers, restaurants, and a rehabilitation center are also nearby. Additionally, if health care needs arise, two top hospitals are within a couple of miles, and the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center is about half an hour away.

For family and friends visiting their loved one, the care home is easily accessible off Interstate 495 and Maryland Route 450.

This facility is immaculate, and they serve great food (according to my father) and the staff members worked well with the needs of my father. The moment I entered the facility and talked to the owner, [name removed], I knew that this was the place for my father. He came to this facility because rehab said he was beyond rehabilitation. Contrary to this analysis, one of the staff members, [name removed], worked with him until he was able to walk again. He did so until his health failed again as his dementia set in. [name removed] was hands-on and was there every time my father’s had significant health issues. So much so that [name removed] insisted that the paramedics take my father to the hospital because he was sleeping too much that day. The paramedics were hesitant because his blood pressure and vital signs were normal, but she was so adamant that they took him. Only to find out when he got to the hospital that he actually needed hospital care and he stayed there for five days. You see for us it was more than a facility but people who cared about the well being and health of my father. Also, my father liked it there because I asked him. I am forever grateful that God sent me this way and that God directed me to reach out to A Place for Mom for the right place.

  • This is a nice and very clean new community. The staff was friendly and answered my questions on my mom's care. This one level community would of been nice for my mom. They had activities for those who wanted to participate and stay active. I think that other families would be happy with the all around care and value here.
