And all within luxurious surroundings and the natural beauty of our 162-acre campus. As with our traditional assisted living residents, we take care of the daily tasks that have become difficult for your loved one, allowing them to focus their time and energy on continuing to learn, grow, and enjoy life in the moment. That’s what NewBridge is all about.

Our memory care area is designed to be soothing and easy to navigate for residents. Color and lighting schemes are chosen intentionally, and carpeting is free of complex patterns that can confuse people with dementia. We also provide door-side shadow boxes filled with photos and mementos to help people identify their apartment. With our secured surroundings, you can be assured your loved one
is safe.

    My family and I have nothing but positive things to say about Newbridge in the Charles. The staff couldn’t be kinder and more attentive to the residents. Most important to me, they have kept my dad engaged and social and have provided incredible safety protocols during the pandemic. Now that the residents and staff have all been vaccinated and the state has lifted some restrictions, my 96 year young dad has resumed his bridge games, eating in the dining room with his friends and taking part in activities that the staff has provided. My dad is happy which makes me thankful.

    Assisted Living facility

  • Newbridge on the Charles experience

    My 96 year old dad became a resident at the Assisted Living facility of Newbridge on the Charles, in early 2019. Dad has defied the aging process - he's an avid bridge player, keeps up to date on current events, loves music and has enjoyed all that Newbridge has to offer. He's a very social person. Naturally, due to the covid pandemic, the residents had to spend their time in their own suites. However, Newbridge went out of their way to ensure that residents were able to Zoom with their families and were able to stream shows and musical events on their own TV's. Most importantly, the Newbridge staff did a PHENOMENAL job keeping the residents healthy and safe, containing the handful of cases of covid-19. We've been so impressed and thankful for the great care that has been given to my dad. Everyone, including the staff, has been fully vaccinated, and at this point, the dining rooms are opening up again, and social activities are beginning to resume. Kudos to the staff!

    Newbridge on the Charles experience

    My 96 year old dad became a resident at the Assisted Living facility of Newbridge on the Charles, in early 2019. Dad has defied the aging process - he's an avid bridge player, keeps up to date on current events, loves music and has enjoyed all that Newbridge has to offer. He's a very social person.
