When Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., the late-president's eldest son, started his own family, his mother, Edith, gifted him some of the acreage in the orchard nearby the family home of Sagamore Hill. Teddy Jr. built a beautiful home on the orchard to raise his family - creating many memories, experiencing all of life's ups and downs. The home was called Old Orchard. We chose to name our beautiful new community Orchard Estate of Woodbury. Just as Teddy Jr. had done, we are taking a beautiful piece of land that once started as farmland and are creating a home for people to experience joy, hope, love and care while connecting to what matters to them.

In our logo we have the apple and pear trees, both of which were part of the Roosevelt property. In ancient mythology, the apple is one of the most sacred trees and symbolizes good health and future happiness while the pear tree symbolizes inner peace exactly what we are hoping the residents and their families experience at Orchard Estate of Woodbury.
