Pacifica Newport Mesa is a secure private, gated community serving seniors with memory loss. We have a specifically designed building with no long hallways in which to become confused. Instead, we offer an atmosphere of home and comfort. We are proud of our experienced Nurse and care staff who many have been with us for over 10 years. The intimate cottage settings help reduce the feeling of loneliness and isolation and instead create a feeling of independence. Our legacies memory program offer those with memory challenges specific cognitive enhancing activities such as memory boxes and scrapbooking as well as creative arts, gardening and specifically designed music programs.

Our visiting physicians, dentists and podiatrists work alongside our licensed nurse and family members to ensure that every resident is closely reviewed and monitored on a consistent basis. Our chef prepares well- balanced meals on site, and nutritious snacks are available 24 hours a day. We value our beautiful outdoor scenic gardens, walking paths, patio eating and visiting areas. All of these amenities encourage our residents to walk freely outdoors and enjoy our magnificent weather here in Costa Mesa.

  • Dangerous

    The community is understaffed and undertrained. The staff has to do many jobs due to staffing and they are not trained. The staff is very friendly but there is no management on site. I would not recommend this community to others. They said they would do specific tasks but would not complete them. There are no activities to participate in and there is no engagement. Basic hygiene was not maintained either

    I choose this community due to the friendliness, cleanliness, condition of the property and knowledge of the staff. They have had some transition and there were times responses were delayed. My loved one seems to be responding well to the food.
