Park Creek Center's philosophy comes from the heart and our love of our families. We are a deliberately casual and cozy apartment community. Our support services are designed to balance a resident's lifestyle both physically and emotionally. Park Creek is a retirement community that will meet all the needs of the older adult and serve as a resource for the entire family.

A two-minute drive from Parmatown Mall and Parma Hospital, Park Creek has private apartments of various sizes for each resident.

Since it's opening in 1985, Park Creek Center has remained a private senior community under family management. That is rare in this industry, dominated by large corporations that own many facilities and often franchise their operations nationwide.

The friendly, caring atmosphere of Park Creek is due in large part to the closeness of the 30-person staff to the residents, which is illustrated in many ways. We have many testimonial letters from residents and their families when the father or mother had to move on to an extended care facility to get more care than we can provide.

We have many letters from families in that situation thanking us for helping them find a quality long-term care facility, and thanking us for the quality of the care we gave their mother or father here.

  • I would recommend them

Our experience was good, the community was clean and the staff was nice. Our loved one seemed to enjoy the food, she never complained and they did offer a variety of activities even though she did not always participate in them. We chose this community because our mother enjoyed it and that was what was most important and the value was good.

  • Very Satisfied

My mom has been at Park Creek for almost three years now. I have nothing negative to say about it. Most of the residents have severe dementia and are not really aware. Every time I visit they all appear to be very well taken care of. The facilitator can be very abrubt and "matter of fact". She does not pamper the residents and does not sugar coat anything with visitors. But she knows her stuff and makes sure everyone is very well taken care of. The common/dining room is where they encourage the residents to spend their time so that they can socialize and participate in activities. It is a very "homey" atmosphere with a fire place and a lot of comfy seating areas as well as a restaurant style dining room. The individual living spaces are more than adequate. This is a very reasonably priced facility. They do not have all the bells and whistles that some of the $6,000 per month places have, but my mom does not need or want all that. It's a very "comfortable" place that feels like home. The nurses are wonderful and the entire staff gets to know all of the residents and treat them all like family. I have already told my children that I would like to live there when/if the time comes.

  • Extremely rude manager

The manager there was a witch and the halls are very narrow. We just did not like it at all, every one of my siblings and my mother didn't like it. First of all, there were 5 of us that showed up and she didn't like that, she was probably expecting one or two, so she had me and my sister come into her tiny messy office and the rest of them had to wait in the cramped hallway. She was not friendly at all and it turns out, towards the end of our tour, we ran into a friend of ours that my mom had known for years and she had jsut been there for 2 weeks. She was headed for the cafeteria and we wanted to go and say goodbye and the maanger woman says "we don't allow that, we want them to eat when they're supposed to eat and if you sit down and talk to her it will distract her from eating." We didn't like that at all.
