Community Amenities & Services

As part of our mission to boost independence, we’ve incorporated a unique, stimulating model of memory care. Several common rooms are designed to resemble store fronts, including an ice cream parlor, boutique and beauty salon. Not only does this create opportunities for residents to maintain their independence in a secure environment, but it’s also designed to be fun and engaging. Residents can catch a classic flick in the TV lounge, get pampered in the salon, or join friends and neighbors for an ice cream social all without leaving their secure, familiar environment.

Kind and attentive, our caregivers take their time to truly get to know each resident as an individual. Our dedicated team members are available 24/7 to assist residents with non-medical care needs, and have received specialized memory care training to best serve residents as their needs progress. Ambulatory care, medication management, and incontinence care are amongst the vast services we provide. For residents in need of more focused medical care, our management team schedules routine visits with local specialized healthcare professionals.

Without the stresses of maintaining a home, residents can spend more time doing the things that bring them joy. We have 24-hour kitchen areas, so residents enjoy delightful, nutritionally balanced meals and snacks as they desire. Residents receive routine housekeeping and laundry care services as well. You can rest easy knowing your loved one’s health and wellness are in caring, capable hands.

Living Arrangements

We offer several inviting, spacious private and semi-private apartments to choose from. Each apartment features lovely oak finished floors, warm neutral walls and large windows with views of the surrounding landscape. Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible and equipped with additional safety features. The entire memory care community is a single floor, making it easy for residents to navigate the community to and from their rooms. State Classification

Rockbrook Memory Care is a Type B assisted living facility. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:

Assisted Living Facility

A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:

Type A:

A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.

Type B:

A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.

Type C (Adult Foster Care):

Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
