  • Rosewood Home has been a tremendous blessing. We are grateful to have found this home as it is truly like “home”. My mother has shown a positive change in her demeanor and health and it’s apparent that she is being well taken care of and that means the world to me! Everyone at Rosewood displays professionalism, compassion and kindness, and shows a genuine interest in all of the residents. It would be nice if there were more activities for the residents.

  • This place is a jewel --- the people gems

I was certain that no one could possibly do a better job than us but I quickly realized I was mistaken. The level of care my Grammy has been given at Rosewood surpasses anything that we could have done on our own. She has constant care and perhaps even more important, companionship. The family and staff that run Rosewood have a heart for the people that they care for. I felt it as soon as I walked in. In the smiles of the people who reside there, the cleanliness and the warmth in the way that they interacted with everyone including my own two children. No one wince when my mom pulled out a list of questions after already having asked countless ones via phone. Instead they answered each one, understanding that for my mother this was the hardest decision she has had to make in this season of her life. They also asked her questions too and wanted to be sure that they had a clear understanding of what my Grammy’s needs were and were prepared to meet them. They went over her medical information and even pointed out things that my mom should follow up with her primary physician about. In looking for a place its easy to get caught up in just the appearances. Growing up with my Grammy she always loved things that were grand, and ornate and shiny. And while this house isn't that, it’s warm and cozy and inviting, the acts of love and kindness that have been shown to my Grammy and our family are all those things -- grand and ornate and shiny. It's been far more beautiful to see than the marble tile in the bathroom and huge rooms of the place my mom didn't choose. Rosewood wow'd us where it mattered. My Grammy is a completely different person than she was during the time she spent living at an independent living facility. While her memory isn't what it was, she's sharper, more active and happier than when she arrived. We're all welcome to visit her any time, especially the grandbabies. I think they know that nothing makes Grammy's eyes light up more than them. They even host activities and invite family members to come (and this is just a small amount of what they do). I can't be more grateful for a place that values one of our world's sweetest gifts -- of seniors and knows that they still have so much to offer. Whether it's the stories, or the way they force you to slow down so you don't miss the important stuff because it all goes by so fast... This place is a jewel --- the people gems and I thank God for them. And while my Grammy may not be able to remember everything, the details, the small moments, the gentleness and the smiles I won't forget.
