Saratoga Grove is a Providence Life Services Community. Providence, a non-profit organization, has been committed to providing quality senior living options to those entrusted to our care in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana for over a century. Our organization offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing Care, and Post-Acute Rehabilitation Stays. We also offer short-term Respite Care, Home Healthcare, Private Duty, Hospice services, and Care Management. Our mission is to enhance the lives of those we serve in the name of Jesus Christ.

Providence Healthcare & Rehabilitation Services of Downers Grove began providing skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services in 1984. Five years later, we added Saratoga Grove to the campus, which provides retirement living, assisted living, and memory care. In addition to the physical care available at Saratoga Grove, we offer programs that meet our residents' emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs. Saratoga Grove also benefits from the prayerful attention of a designated chaplain who provides spiritual, religious, and personal guidance to any residents, family members, and employees who desire it.

At Saratoga Grove, our Independent and Assisted Living philosophy includes a goal to allow a person to be as independent as they can be for as long as they can be. Every day at Saratoga Grove, we preserve and enhance a person's independence while caring for the whole person — spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. We tailor our programs to fit your specific needs. It’s the best of both worlds—independence with assistance.

We are committed to Memory Care that is extra-ordinary. For families facing the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease of someone they love, the road ahead may appear overwhelming. We understand that when you’re looking for memory care support, you need to know you can trust the staff and the program. The compassionate care that drives all our interactions is what really sets Saratoga Grove Memory Care apart. Our caregivers have developed an intuitive ability to understand the emotional challenges of memory issues, so they can craft personalized programs that reach people socially, spiritually, and creatively. Your family member will receive all the social and dining benefits of Assisted Living, but they’ll have the added support that will allow you to step back and be a son or daughter again.

At Saratoga Grove, you get an opportunity to eat delicious meals with your friends every day, and you don’t have to leave the house! Our residents enjoy the restaurant-style dining experience they get three times daily, with the perfect balance of flavor, nutrition, presentation, and environment. Our dining services team will get to know your preferences and needs, and will do whatever they can to make your meal enjoyable. If you have dietary restrictions, or even if there’s food you just don’t prefer, we’ll make sure you have a delicious meal, every meal.

We also offer plenty of life-enriching activities and events that are planned with you in mind. In fact, when you move to our community, our Life Enrichment staff will meet with you personally to find out what enjoy, and make sure you have the opportunity to enjoy those things right here on campus. We love our bus rides to go on outings, as well as our all there is to do right on campus. In addition, we offer a wellness program that includes Well-Being, a senior fitness program, and VirtuSense Technology, a program designed to assess and help reduce a person’s fall risk.
