The house is a rambler with no stairs inside and outside. It is surrounded by beautiful flower and tree garden. It has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, all wheelchair accessible. Every resident has his /her own room ,two of them have private bathrooms connected to their rooms. There is a big deck in the back yard where we have our facility events when weather is permissible.
Our residents make the shopping list for the RN to review and purchase each week. They ,therefore ,will get their favorite food choices during the week provided the choices meet their diet prescription. We celebrate their birthdays and all holidays with traditional family meals and activities. We go to parks and shopping malls when they are able to . We provide individual rehab activities under the residents'physical therapist instruction besides every morning exercises following TV program.
The owner is a geriatric RN , a specialty of nursing for the care of elderlies , including: frail elderly problems, dementia and elderly with depression. She has years of hospital, clinic and home setting care experience. And she concentrates her expertise and energy solely on Shi's Home residents care.
Our home enjoys good reputation with the state and the community. We have excellent references from past and present residents ,their physicians and families. You are welcome to visit us for your loved ones.
