Designed Like A Familiar Neighborhood
Silvergate created an easy-to-navigate community floorplan with an intimate feel for its distinct “Neighborhood” design. The design takes a more personalized, home-like approach to resident care. Divided into four uniquely themed “Neighborhoods,” each ideally sized neighborhood features 12 resident suites gathered around a central, shared living room, kitchen, and dining room space. There are no corridors or hallways to wander – meaning residents are less likely to experience confusion or anxiety – which gives seniors who are living with memory loss both a familiar and comfortable environment in which to reside.
More Caregivers Per Resident
Our experienced team provides high-touch care around the clock, seven days a week, offering one of the highest caregiver-to-resident ratios in the industry. Families are assured the safety and security of loved ones every day.
Award-Winning Care With A Positive Approach
Silvergate employs the well-known A Positive Approach To Care TM model first introduced by trusted industry expert, Teepa Snow. This care method concentrates on positive interactions with residents who are experiencing memory loss. This successful and proven care model allows our certified nurses and trained staff to deliver best-in-class care with the greatest degree of respect, sensitivity and dignity. A positive approach means we can focus on what’s left...not what’s lost.
