  • Incredibly helpful staff, extra services, attentive management,

They sought out my parents, and invited them to join all sorts of activities, and services they provide, such as van services, and setting up doctors' appointment. They actually knock on your door and invite you to things. My folks had a delay moving in, and they held the apartment, and that was very nice of them. The director and sales staff are extremely accomodating. My mother is very picky, and they've met and exceeded her needs. They come around and check on them. The director, Mark Nielson is at the dining room every night, checking on what people are doing and what they need. He does an excellent job of overseeing the facility, and seeing that everything is done right, and peoples, needs are met. The sales director, Kelly Malchow, is as helpful. My parents are very pleased. One thing that was different about this place from every other place we looked at, is that the entire place is on one level; this was very important to my parents. It made them feel safer. They also have a full kitchen in every unit; my mother can cook a turkey dinner if she wants to. No other place had that.

  • Sonoma Hills Retirement is a great find!

A really wonderful, kind and compassionate community. Directors and staff are all very professional and helpful. My folks love it! Everything is clean and bright, the food is wonderful (plus each unit has it's own full kitchen if you want to cook for yourself) and current residents are very welcoming to new residents. Lots of activities to choose from, van service within Sonoma and the community is small (80 units) and all on a single level so getting around is super easy.

  • Family feel

It has a family feel to it. There are long term staff members and that’s very impressive. The size of it appealed to us. It’s convenient that it’s all on one level. Parking is a breeze when we go to visit.
