Located in the quaint, historic town of Madison, New Jersey, our community features inviting common areas, a specialized memory care neighborhood, a compassionate team of caregivers, and an array of care services to meet each resident’s unique needs. We offer assisted living, memory care, short-term respite care, and hospice care coordination. We also have monthly wellness visits provided by an on-staff licensed nurse.

Just about 25 miles west of downtown Manhattan, Madison offers a vibrant town overflowing with charming architecture. Our community overlooks a beautiful wooded area and is close to plenty of shopping, dining, and recreation for residents to enjoy. We are also close to the Madison Golf Club, Morris County Golf Club, and Morristown Memorial Hospital. Once known as The Rose City, residents have every opportunity to stop and smell the roses in Madison as well as in our community gardens and grounds.

Community Services and Amenities

Each day at Sunrise of Madison presents new options and activities for residents to engage their minds, bodies, and spirits, including daily physical fitness, creative, social, learning, and resident-sponsored clubs for a variety of interests. From socializing with new neighbors and friends in our spacious common areas to trying out a new hairdo in our on-site beauty salon and barber shop, residents can spend their days however they choose.

We have a bistro as well as a formal dining room that offers a variety of homemade meals made from fresh ingredients. Each meal is tailored to promote health and well-being, with modified options available as needed. We regularly discuss menu preferences with residents, and strive to create enjoyable dining experiences for everyone.

Living Arrangements

We offer studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and companion suites at Sunrise of Madison. Each suite offers an abundance of natural light and plenty of storage space. Our housekeeping and personal laundry services provide residents with an enjoyable, chore-free lifestyle.   • I Couldn't Ask for A Better Place

    Go for it , if you can afford it. I have no problems, everything is what they say it was. My loved one likes the food, and it seems like home cooked meals to me. The staff are nice and are always asking if there is anything else they can do for the families or residents.

    I Couldn't Ask for A Better Place

    Go for it , if you can afford it. I have no problems, everything is what they say it was. My loved one likes the food, and it seems like home cooked meals to me. The staff are nice and are always asking if there is anything else they can do for the families or residents.

    We chose Sunrise of Madison mostly because they had availability during covid when we needed it. After touring the facility virtually, it seemed like it was going to be a good fit. It looked more like a retirement place and not institutional. His room is more than adequate for his needs. They do allow pets so that was a a big selling point to us. The staff here are very friendly and responsive to needs. Overall, we are very satisfied with our choice.

    Very satisfied

    We chose Sunrise of Madison mostly because they had availability during covid when we needed it. After touring the facility virtually, it seemed like it was going to be a good fit. It looked more like a retirement place and not institutional. His room is more than adequate for his needs. They do allow pets so that was a a big selling point to us. The staff here are very friendly and responsive to needs. Overall, we are very satisfied with our choice.

    We chose Sunrise of Madison because of the proximity to my house. The room sizes were lovely, my mother loved the room she was in. The staff was phenomenal when my mom passed. They allowed me to see her and the rest of the family on face time during the pandemic. One complaint I do have was the food. It was not fresh and sometimes you had to wait a half an hour for food and then it would be cold. The quality of food was also poor. I would recommend this facility with reservations. If you have someone who needs a lot of care, you may need to supplement your care with your own private aid.
