Just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, our community features peaceful porches and wonderfully landscaped gardens, just perfect for a quiet stroll. We offer personalized assisted living, memory care for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, and Dignity Home Care services. Our community is close to Beth Israel Hospital, Community Hospital, and Lutheran Hospital. We also have visiting medical staff, including internists, physical and occupational therapists, psychologists, audiologists, podiatrists, nurses, lab technicians, and portable radiology providers.
Our trained team members provide compassionate, individualized care. We also provide monthly wellness visits by a licensed on-staff nurse. Along with scheduled meetings by our team for residents and their families, we prioritize communication with loved ones through our family engagement app. Family members can access photos and videos, community updates, dining menus, and activity calendars to stay informed and connected.
Community Services and Amenities
We value each resident’s preferences and strive to make each day enjoyable. Our team plans a variety of engaging activities through our Sunrise Live With Purpose™ programming. This program offers a variety of enriching activities that nurture residents through eight focus areas: exercise, excursions, art, music, education, intergenerational mentoring, community service, and spirituality.
Residents receive three homemade meals a day, each made with fresh, local ingredients. We also offer food for modified diets as necessary. Residents can enjoy our Bistro, where they can grab fresh coffee, tea, homemade cookies, or fresh fruit.
Living Arrangements
Choose from a studio, one-bedroom, or companion suite at Sunrise of Mill Basin. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items and familiar furnishings to decorate their private space in their own style. We also take care of the cooking, cleaning, laundry, and other daily chores, so you have more time to focus on the things you enjoy.
