  • My tour review

The tour guide sat down and talked to us about what we needed and where my love one was at that time and then gave us suggestions for other places for the best care. This was a good community.

  • Our tour experience

Our family had an in person tour and we really enjoyed what the sales people showed us, but the bedrooms only had one bed, not like an apartment style and there was no kitchenette

  • Incomplete - So many open variables due to Covid

I think in normal times, the Arbor Inn is aw ondrful facility for your loved one if htey have mobility and are farily self sufficient. When I was looking at other facilities, everyone seemed to be in the same place with restriction splaced on them by the state of Michigan government with lockdowns and family visiting. They've done a fair job of communicating with us during Covid. They've had some staffing issues with turnover and training, and the staff to patient ratio is probably around 1:16, and I think that's low for the needs that my loved one had. Eating out of Styrofoam container w plastic forks vs going to the dining room with a plat and slverware makes a big difference. Covid defineltelhurth the eating and dining experience being sequestered in the rooms. I think if dining, activiites, and visits open up and slowly get back to normal, it's a very good option to consider for your loved ones. Especially product for your dollar. And as long as your loved one has a fair amount of independence and does not need a lot of care and attention, I think Arbor Inn is avery good facility to consider.
