Welcome home to The Grove Care and Wellness in Riverside, California — where they provide residents with exceptional independent and assisted living services. By leading with compassion, dignity, and respect for independence, they have gained a reputation for providing quality care in a clean and safe environment.

Riverside, California is known for its stunning locale near the Santa Ana River, with historic sites and city sites, all surrounded by mountains and only a short drive to the stunning Pacific Coast beaches. The locale provides residents and visitors alike with many things to do and see. They are located near the Historic Mission Inn shops, restaurants, and museums as well as major highways.

Community Amenities and Services

No two residents have the same needs, which is why skilled nurses are readily available to provide services such as memory care, personal care, medication management, and other personalized care services. Community specialists are also available to provide supplementary care.

We are proud to serve residents three chef-inspired meals per day in a spacious and modern dining room. Food is close to many people’s hearts, and they are happy to go the extra mile to make dietary accommodations.

In between meals, residents enjoy indoor and outdoor community spaces, such as the meeting room, TV lounge, beauty salon/ barber shop, fitness center, and landscaped grounds.     The Grove is a Great Place to Live for Senior Citizens

    This is a safe and comfortable place to live. The interactions with everyone is great. The staff is quick to respond to any concerns of mine. The food is a little on the weak side of the scale; however, I cook for myself.

    This is a different type of assisted living. It is more of an apartment or older hotel feeling which works very well for our loved one. Other living options available there. They could use more staff but do a good job overall. They are friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious with a sliding glass door and very small patio which adds to the spacious feel. The bathrooms are a bit smaller and not as modern. A large walk in closet and another spacious closet provide ample storage. The facility is an older building located a few blocks from the Mission Inn in downtown Riverside which makes a nice walk. Located in a residential type neighborhood makes this feel more homey. Parking for visitors can be difficult at times. I have heard some residents complain about the food but seems to be fairly standard and no complaints on our end. The biggest issue is probably the slow elevators! If you are looking for a mid or lower priced facility, this is a good choice. I cannot compare the living here to other facilities. This is not a smaller more intimate setting so may not work as well for some or perhaps a more elderly person or those who need a more social environment. There is a variety of age groups here. They also have independent living. There are daily activities. Transportation to appointments or activities is provided and [name removed] is so helpful and accommodating to his passengers. After visiting several places we decided on The Grove and after some time feel we made the best choice for our loved one.
