Community Services and Amenities
Oftentimes, assisted living communities overlook the importance of personal connections between residents and staff, but The Heritage does its best to do the opposite. The wonderful staff is devoted to learning about each resident’s background, interests, worries, and all the little things in between. Listening helps staff build a foundation of trust that helps provide residents with the proper care and support they require. Additionally, they aim to have an interactive relationship with each resident’s loved ones to bring extra joy to the community.
The staff works tirelessly to develop individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and desires. Each resident is provided central services, including clinical oversight by the licensed nurse, weekly housekeeping and laundry, and transportation. Services are also offered in the beauty salon and barbershop. Additionally, the community offers three dietitian-approved, nutritious meals and snacks daily along with several opportunities for residents to stay active and engaged. The social and recreational programs offer a wide range of activities that enhance each resident’s physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
The staff understands that each resident has unique personal needs, so they offer individualized care services that can be added to each individual’s care plans as their level of care changes. Services include mobility assistance, transfer, assistance with daily living activities, incontinence care, dining assistance, medication management, diabetic care, behavior management, and exit-seeking management. They also offer on-site medical services, including physician services and physical, occupational, and therapy services.
The homes are built to help residents engage with one another in a safe space. Residents are encouraged to spend time building relationships within the shared indoor and outdoor spaces. Seniors can enjoy the fresh air by utilizing the secure gardens, courtyards, walking paths, and sitting areas. Residents can also comfortably relax in the indoor shared spaces, such as the living room, lounging area, family-style kitchen, and dining room.
