  • Positive experience at a new community with lots of potential

Overall, it's been a very positive experience. I think because they're new, there may be some growing pains. Especially because my loved ones moved in not that long ago, they kind of feel like they're forgotten about sometimes and have had to follow up on some things. They needed a bar put up by the toilet, and they had to ask three times before it finally got put in. I don't think it's at all intentional, I just think that they're short-staffed and multitasking, which can cause things to slip through the cracks. Also, there was a lack of communication about a change in cleaning schedule where my parents were waiting all day, and the housekeeper never showed up. Apparently they changed the day, and that information didn't make it's way to my loved ones. I'm not sure of his job title, but[name removed] has been very helpful. He talks to my loved ones every day and brings their newspaper in. He's helped them take an old chair out of their apartment and move a new one in. He usually drives them to their appointments. He's very social with them, and is their go-to person if they need anything. He seems to go above and beyond. I believe the community is at about a quarter capacity since they're new, so he and all the other employees are wearing many hats and doing many things, stepping in wherever they're needed. It's been a huge help that they've been able to take my loved ones to doctor appointments, and I've not had to use up all my vacation time at work to make that happen. My loved ones have been very happy with the food. Given the circumstances, The Pinnacle has done what they can with activities. Overall, my loved ones are happy there now that they've settled in.

  • The Best Quality Care for Your Loved Ones is Definitely at The Pinnacle

I would steer people to the community. There is easy access to all of the buildings on campus. The staff is kind and the food is amazing. The residents are fabulous. All the residents have received their vaccines. My loved one was able to teach the residents mahjong. The community seems to be running smoothly. The chef meets every other week with the residents and listen to the residents on what they would like to eat. The chef is accommodating to dietary restrictions. My loved one says the food is restaurant quality.
