  • My Thoughts

Our experience has been with the assisted living side of the community. It is a good option for someone who is in need of additional help, but still would like to socialize. The staff are fairly responsive with any questions or concerns we may have about our loved one.

  • Great Independent/assisted living

Lexington Square, Elmhurst is a great independent and assisted living community. My father has been there about 6 years. There’s something for everyone for enjoyment. This is also one of the few communities that has basically kept Covid out. I highly recommend it! Only regret my family has is that he didn’t make the move sooner. Prior to Covid they had so many outings you could sign up for, Cubs games, plays, architectural tours of Chicago on a boat on Chicago river and more. Beautiful dining room and spacious apartments. Staff and residents very welcoming. Now with Covid around the CDC rules of masks & social distancing continue but hopefully this too shall pass. People still visit in the lobbies but chairs a bit farther apart. I applaud the director for doing an excellent job keeping residents safe during this. Plus all residents received vaccines on site long ago. Excellent place to live

  • Poor, Poor, Poor

I regret moving my Mom to the Assisted Living floor from her previous unit. She was supposesd to get 24-hour care. She is deaf and almost blind, so her children cannot even communicate with her on the phone. Lexington cannot even bother to show her how to operate the AC. Beacuse of this Corono Virus, they won't let my sister in to help her. She is crying every night and we are trying to figure out how to get her out of there. Don't take your mother there. All they are interested in is getting your money.
