Charter Senior Living of Edgewood offers senior living options, including memory care, to seniors who are looking for personalized care in a friendly, safe, and maintenance free environment. We are considered one of the top personal care communities in Northern Kentucky. Our residents enjoy grounds that are filled with gardens, walking paths, and a private lake. Our indoor common areas include a chapel, an on-site beauty and barber shop, private dining room for entertaining guests, library and recreation room.

Our residents love our choice of apartments which come in different floor plans, some of which offer a view of the lake. Apartments are pet friendly, equipped with kitchenettes featuring a refrigerator, contains a private bath with a walk-in shower and offers individual climate controls.

  • a wonderful place if you like the building

    I am in independent living at another facility and looked at Charter a few months ago because it's cheaper. The director is wonderful, the program is great, especially for people with some physical issues. The activities are varied and they seem fun. The person who gave us the tour said that the facility is 25 years old, but I think it's much older. I found the building dark and depressing. Maybe you wouldn't agree; if you can look past the building, you'll like Charter, but I'll stay where I am. I might consider it later if I need more health care.

    Love that there are two options of living for memory care. They are licensed personal care, which is very important when your loved one reaches certain stages of dementia. Very family oriented. Lots of programs for all levels of memory loss. Our family was very impressed and hopes to call this home for our mom.

    Make sure you make a detailed list of everything that your loved one has. There were several items missing from her belongings. They couldn't find all of our loved ones' belongings. We had to make 3 trips and tried to get us to Take furniture that wasn't even ours. I hope it all has changed due to they have new management.
