  • Menu is not good

The menu is dull, unappetizing, not much to choose from. To many carbs! I guess you would have to eat there to know. If you like country cooking (gravy) this is the place for you. If you want healthy food, look elsewhere.

  • Declining in every way

My mom has lived here for 4 years, and the level of attention, quality of food, availability of activities, assistance with needed medical appliances or products is non-existent, and staff interaction has declined dramatically. Very disappointed in this change, and my mom is increasingly unhappy here.

  • Our initial impression upon arriving at Vintage Retirement Community was not very favorable. The location next to the power lines and hospital and the lack of landscaping made it feel like an institution that we didn’t want to visit. The entry way was small and uninviting. There didn’t seem to be very many common areas for the residents to enjoy. The hallways leading to the apartments were narrow. The two apartments we toured were ok, but there was a dead roach in the shower of one of them. The dining area for independent seniors was cafeteria style requiring the residents to fumble with a tray for dining. The 6th floor for assisted living residents had a dining room with wait staff for the residents, but we found that to be cramped and depressing. Obviously, none of us liked this place and there was 5 of us touring.
